Fall camping is the best. We met Kerry and Ben in the woods of Taconic Copake Falls State Park for a weekend of hiking, leaf peeping, and drinking around the campfire. And with Massachusett’s highpoint only a (very scenic) hour away, we couldn’t resist doing some highpointing as well.
Mount Greylock’s summit afforded sweeping views of the autumnal countryside. Admittedly, we drove to the top of the 3,489 ft peak, as Sophia’s ankle was not up for walk to the top. But it still counts! Tally is Tait: 10 and Sophia: 17!
