We bagged this creatively-named New Jersey Highpoint on our way home from a weekend backpacking trip in the western Catskills. Despite the lackluster moniker, High Point was not a disappointment; from the 1,803 ft summit, we had a spectacular (albeit windy!) 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and towns. Definitely worth the short side trip. This makes Tait’s seventh, and Sophia’s fourteenth state highpoint!
